Here's a picture of the monkey boys!
Jon and I just got back from pre-court. Everything went very smoothly and unfolded as our facilitators told us it would. The only problem we might have is our court date is two days later than originally predicted. This might affect our flight home, but we'll find out later today.
Also, for all those concerned, Jon did not bring the travel monkey despite our travel partners egging him on. I'm trying to convince Jon to will the monkey to our driver (Jon uses it to taunt the other drivers when we arrive first to the baby house), but he is too obdurate and has yet to capitulate (using some SAT words for those English teachers out there. Bouf, you can ask Tiff to explain them to you :).

P.S. Our travel partners have nicknamed Jon "LT." He keeps winning all the card games we play, so they started calling him a "Lucky Turd."

Been in Georgia and away from the computer for the past 5 days. Your effort seems to be most successfull. T J has already created a strong bond. I am sure the food and the culture are both mosst interesting and probably a bit surprising and not what all of us here might expect. Be well - you will soon be back home. Do not give away the monkey! Some day when LT's son reads this blog he is going to ask for the special monkey and laugh at his father's zaniness! How do you say "lucky turd" in Russian?
It's "luckski katurdski". It's one of the few Russian phrases that I remember.
